Mr. Steele is an associate in the firm who handles securities cases.
Mr. Steele recently received his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School, where he graduated with two honors. First, as a member of the school’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Honor Society and second, as the Online Editor for the Brooklyn Journal of Corporate, Financial, and Commercial Law. During law school, Mr. Steele extensively studied complex securities litigation and shareholder rights.
During a semester exchange, Mr. Steele studied Chinese investment law and international alternative dispute resolution at the University of Hong Kong. He also graduated cum laude from Suffolk University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Steele worked as a student trainee with the United States Navy JAG Corps. and assisted in court-martial proceedings. As a law clerk at the firm Warshaw Burstein, he honed his skills in discovery preparation, motion practice, and client counseling in civil litigation cases.
Mr. Steele’s work includes substantial negotiation experience. His prowess has been nationally recognized. In the Spring of 2018, he placed 1st in the STCL Houston Energy Law Negotiation Competition, out-performing dozens of teams from top-ranked national law schools. In the Spring of 2019, he coached competitors at the Merhige Environmental Negotiation Competition at the Richmond School of Law.
